Title: Love and Its Meaning in the World
(1 lecture: Zurich, December 17, 1912)
Love is the "moral" sun of the world. Deeds of love are not deeds
that look for compensation in the next life. By everything we do
out of love, we pay off debts. Interest in the earth's evolution
is the foundation of love, while love founds everything else.
Without sense-born love nothing material comes into the world;
without spiritual love, nothing spiritual.
