...Roxbury Farm is one of the first CSA farms to create a relationship with consumers in urban areas. In 1991 the farm was approached by members of the center for Anthroposophy in New York City with the request to establish a CSA relationship with a biodynamic farm. A year later the Committee for Peace and Justice in the Capital District area of New York, inspired by the initiative of New York established their own membership base. Today Roxbury Farm is supported by 1000 member shareholders in New York City (with drop offs at 86th street, 114th street, 116th street and on 135th street on the West side), Westchester County (with drop offs in White Plains, Pleasantville, Bedford, Mount Kisco, and Katonah), Columbia County (with drop offs at the farm and in Churchtown), and in the Capital District (with drop offs in Albany, Delmar, Watervliet, Glennville and Schenectady). ...
